Everland is the largest theme park in South Korea. It features the World’s Steepest Wooden Roller Coaster called the T-express, with a 77 degree angle drop. There is also a Safari World and and Lost Valley that allows for a close-up encounter with safari animals such as lions and giraffes. Everland is also known for its gardens and huge flower arrangements that people come by to to take pictures.
The park is magical at night. All the gardens and the scenery are lit up with beautiful lights and there are also live band performances.
The park is really huge so if you want to try as much attractions as you can, you should come really early because there is a waiting time for every attraction. The park is open from 10:00am to 10:00pm. The rates are 48,000KRW for adults and 38,000KRW for children. Foreigners can get a 50% discount coupon! We got ours from the recent Grand KPOP festival but I think you can also search online for printer-friendly ones. There are also horror mazes (I and II) but you have to pay an additional 5,000KRW for each. For more details on Everland, you can check their website HERE.
Tip: If you think the ride will make you dizzy, save it for later. My friends and I made the mistake of riding it earlier and we had to rest for hours before we could ride another attraction.
I’ll definitely come back here if given a chance!
